Date: Wednesday 9th October 2019

Location: Zoopla Office, The Cooperage 5 Copper Row London SE1 2LH

Time: 6.00 pm- 9.00 pm

Come and join us for iwomm 3.4 where we’ll be holding an evening of machine learning, NLP (Natural Language Processing) and of course some fantastic food and drink on Wednesday 9th October at Zoopla.

Concerned that you need a PhD to build an NLP product? You needn’t be. Matt Wright, CTO and engineer and co-founder of, will hold a workshop to get everyone building an NLP model based on an actual commercial use case. You’ll be able to build a model and iterate on a real problem and learn tips and tricks on how to apply this to your own circumstances. All without a doctorate to prove it.

So if you have brains and bottle, and want to challenge yourself – this is the event for you!

  • 18:30 – Arrival with drinks and food
  • 18.55 – Short intro – 101 Ways CTO Odhrán McConnell
  • 19.00 – Building NLP Products – Matt Wright
  • 19.30 – Interval (more drinks)
  • 19:40 – How to Build an NLP Product – What it says on the tin! Matt will hold a workshop to get everyone building an NLP model and display some fun charts or output in the process.
  • 20:30 – (Even more) drinks and networking!

If you want to participate in the workshop session—which we hope you do—don’t forget to bring a laptop you’re happy to write code on.

The event will be held at the Zoopla offices at The Cooperage, 5 Copper Row, London SE1 2LH. Register now to reserve your space and hope to see you there! We will confirm the chosen vendors of gastronomic delights nearer the time so watch this space.

This is an IWOMM Event – IWOMM (it works on my machine) A public tech club for both new and experienced developers/engineers to discover and learn about cutting-edge technology.

what community members are saying about our events..

"It was a super valuable event for me, definitely something different being more interactive and I was actually engaged with the wider group at this event, rather than just speaking to one person. The Speakers stayed and mingled with the group too"
