What makes a good leader? Someone loud? Someone who is liked by everyone? Not necessarily.
Often being a leader requires you to make the hard decisions no one wants to, stay calm in the face of difficulty, and be able to support and push others without force. Those are qualities that not everyone has, but can be honed.
Men still vastly outnumber women in leadership positions across the world, but that is starting to change. Yay! And so who better to hear from than Sally Marriott, CTIO of Tesco Mobile about her career (she also has almost a decade at Accenture under her very accomplished belt), the challenges she faced and the success stories that have helped shape her into the leader she is today.
And that’s not all! As you may remember at our last event, we launched WTF Stand Up – our initiative to get our members sharing their stories. This time we have the wonderful Aj Wilson – Senior Tester at ASOS – standing up to tell you some of the things she’s learned throughout her career so far, and offer some leadership insights, advice and tips to the rest of the WTF community!
The evening will be held at the Tesco head offices in Farringdon. So come and join us on Thursday, 16 May 2019 at 6.30pm and leave with the confidence and ability to lead yourself and others to success!
Places are limited, so sign up now to avoid disappointment. We look forward to seeing you there!
